One Long Summer
Steffi Niederzoll • 2006
Set in a quiet Bavarian village, the film follows Vroni, a young girl navigating the monotony of farm life and the shy awakenings of first love. Drawn to the mysterious caravan of a Czech puppeteer in the woods, she experiences a dusty, endless summer filled with sweet melancholy. Through quiet visuals and dream-like sequences, the film captures the fleeting transition from childhood to adolescence. One Long Summer premiered at Hofer Filmtage 2006.
