Composing for Carrington-Brown

Carrington-Brown is a multilingual, multi-award-winning music and comedy duo formed in the UK in 2007. Combining their British humor and virtuoso musical talent, Rebecca Carrington & Colin Brown create a brilliant blend of music and comedy, dubbed “total entertainment”.

Currently based in Berlin, they perform internationally. Countries include the USA, Canada, South Africa and most of Europe. They have also appeared on a number of high-profile TV and radio shows, including an exclusive Arte documentary, and in 2020 they were invited to perform on Britain’s Got Talent for ITV in the UK. They have performed at venues such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Cologne Philharmonic, Tonhalle Zurich, Konzerthaus Vienna, Bonn Opera House, Olympia Paris and at festivals such as Avignon, Cannes, Edinburgh, Cape Town Comedy, Rheingau Festival.

I have written numerous compositions for several of their shows and also contributed to their lyrics. The highlight of our collaboration was the creation of a full opera: a quirky comedy version of Turandot, titled Turnadot, which had its world premiere at the Ludwigsburg Festival on May 24, 2019. The video features the song A Recipe of Love, which I also composed.
